Big Goat: Let’s think of a plan. We can trick the troll.

(Little Goat hides a drum under his belly.)

Little Goat: Wait for the next goat. Another goat will come after me.
→ 다음 염소를 기다려봐. 나 다음에 다른 염소가 올 거야.
She is bigger than me!
→ 그 애는 나보다 더 커!
Troll: A bigger goat? Hmm … OK, then.
→ 더 큰 염소라고? 흠… 좋아, 그럼.
(Little Goat crosses the bridge.)
→ (작은 염소가 다리를 건넌다.)
Big Goat: Now, it’s your turn. You can do it.
→ 이제 네 차례야. 넌 할 수 있어.
Middle Goat: Don’t worry. I’ll make it.
→ 걱정 마. 나 잘 해낼 거야.
(Middle Goat hides a drum under her belly.)
→ (중간 염소가 배 밑에 북을 숨긴다.)
Troll: Hey, you!
→ 야, 너!
Middle Goat: Smart Troll, I need to cross the bridge to eat the grass.
→ 똑똑한 트롤아, 풀을 먹으러 다리를 건너야 해.
Troll: No way! I have to eat you! I cannot wait anymore!
→ 안 돼! 널 먹어야 해! 더는 못 기다리겠어!
Middle Goat: Don’t eat me. I’m stupid. You’ll become stupid like me.
→ 나를 먹지 마. 난 멍청해. 나처럼 멍청해질 거야.
Troll: Really? Then, I will ask you a question.
→ 정말이냐? 그럼 질문 하나 할게.

→ 2 더하기 1은 뭐지?
Middle Goat: That is … uh … I don’t know.
→ 그건… 어… 모르겠어.
Troll: What a stupid goat! Ha, ha, ha, ha! Two plus one is five.
→ 멍청한 염소 같으니! 하하하! 2 더하기 1은 5야.
Middle Goat: Wait for the next goat. He is smarter than me!
→ 다음 염소를 기다려. 걔는 나보다 똑똑해!
Also, he is the biggest goat in our town.
→ 그리고 우리 마을에서 제일 큰 염소야.
Troll: Hmm … I don’t want to be stupid like you.
→ 흠… 너처럼 멍청해지고 싶진 않아.
And the biggest goat … OK! I will wait.
→ 그리고 가장 큰 염소라… 좋아! 기다릴게.
(Middle Goat crosses the bridge.)
→ (중간 염소가 다리를 건넌다.)
Big Goat: OK! I’m coming, Troll!
→ 좋아! 간다, 트롤!
(Big Goat holds a big mirror and runs to Troll. When Big Goat comes closer, Troll looks at himself in the mirror.)
→ (큰 염소가 큰 거울을 들고 트롤에게 달려간다. 가까이 가자 트롤은 거울 속 자신을 본다.)
Troll: Oh, that’s not a goat. That’s a troll!
→ 오, 저건 염소가 아니잖아. 트롤이잖아!
Big Goat: (In a scary voice) I’m hungry. I’m here to eat you!
→ (무서운 목소리로) 나 배고파. 널 먹으러 왔어!
Troll: Oh, no. A big troll is coming here to eat me!
→ 이런! 큰 트롤이 날 먹으러 오고 있어!
Big Goat: You know what? There are more trolls behind you!
→ 있잖아? 네 뒤에 더 많은 트롤이 있어!
Troll: What?
→ 뭐라고?
(Troll tries to run away from Big Goat.)
→ (트롤은 큰 염소에게서 도망치려 한다.)
Little Goat: (In a low voice) Let’s hit the drum, now!
→ (작은 목소리로) 지금 북을 치자!
(Little Goat and Middle Goat hit the drums loudly behind the troll.)
→ (작은 염소와 중간 염소가 트롤 뒤에서 북을 크게 친다.)
Troll: AHHHHH! What’s that sound?
→ 으아아아! 저 소리는 뭐지?
More trolls are coming! Oh, no!
→ 더 많은 트롤들이 오고 있어! 안 돼!
(Troll jumps into the river to run away and never comes back.)
→ (트롤은 도망치려고 강으로 뛰어들고 다시는 돌아오지 않는다.)
Little Goat, Middle Goat, Big Goat: Yay!
→ 만세!
We beat the troll together!
→ 우리 함께 트롤을 이겼어!
Big Goat: Let’s eat fresh grass!
→ 이제 신선한 풀을 먹자!
(When the three goats see the fresh green grass, they all jump for joy.)
→ (세 마리 염소가 푸른 풀을 보고 기뻐서 폴짝폴짝 뛴다.)
